Looking for a fresh contract Outside IR35 and in the Channel Islands? A beautiful location and a slower pace of life is exactly where this role is based, with a higher pay compared to UK and a gorgeous place to live, what is not to love!

We are looking for an experienced Practice Development Lead (Residential) to work for a client in the Channel Islands on a 6 month rolling contract,The Practice Development Lead will oversee the development and implementation of high-quality care and support practices within the children’s home. They will ensure that staff are well-equipped, confident, and consistent in applying trauma-informed, relational, and child-centered approaches. Working closely with managers and frontline teams, the Practice Development Lead will help create a safe and nurturing environment that fully meets the emotional, social, and developmental needs of young people.

Requirements:

  • Significant experience working in residential childcare setting
  • Strong understanding of trauma, attachment, safeguarding, and children’s rights.
  • Experience of coaching, mentoring, or delivering training to teams.
  • Skilled in relationship-based and restorative approaches to behaviour and support.
