Job summary

Leaders In Care Ltd is looking for an experienced Practice Improvement Lead for a Residential Children's Home located in a beautiful holiday destination in the Channel Islands. This role offers an exciting opportunity to provide trauma-informed care, empower children, and support staff development within a dedicated team. A competitive rate of £51.50/h is offered for this essential role aimed at improving outcomes for children in care. Passion for child welfare and the ability to lead and train staff are key to success in this position.

Qualifications

  • Significant experience in residential childcare.
  • Full & Clean driver’s licence.
  • Passionate about improving children's lives.

A wonderful opportunity has just been presented to us here at Leaders in Care, for an experienced care manager to relocate to a gorgeous holiday destination in the channel islands, to join the team as a Practice Improvement Lead for a Residential Children's Home.

Leaders in Care are offering £51.50/h for this role. It is also outside IR35

Key Duties:

  • Guide and model high-quality, trauma-informed care in line with home values and regulations.
  • Deliver training and support staff growth through coaching and reflection.
  • Quality Assurance - Monitor records, care plans, and incidents to raise care standards.
  • Collaborate with staff, professionals, and children to provide joined-up support.
  • Run debriefs and reflective sessions to boost staff resilience and well-being.
  • Empowering Children -Actively involve children in planning and decisions that affect their lives.

Requirements:

Level 3 Diploma (Or equivalent in health and social care) or above

Significant experience in residential childcare

Full & Clean drivers licence
