Job summary

Bank of America in Plymouth, MA is seeking a Mortgage Originator to manage residential loan opportunities and deliver First Mortgage and HELOC products in person or by phone. You will balance sales performance with risk management and client care, while ensuring SAFE Act registration requirements are met.

The role requires 2+ years of mortgage origination experience, strong analytical skills, and the ability to work weekends as needed. This is an in-office position with eligible benefits.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years mortgage origination experience or equivalent consultative sales background.
• Strong communication skills and comfort engaging clients in person and over the phone.
• Ability to analyze financials and advise on product/pricing guidelines.
• Ability to handle ambiguity and adapt to changing circumstances.
• Willingness to work weekends or extended hours as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provides personalized service and guidance across borrowing and banking offerings.
• Builds and deepens relationships with new and existing clients.
• Analyzes client financial needs to recommend suitable financial products.
• Presents home lending solutions, submits mortgage applications, and assists with documentation.
• Maintains client updates throughout the mortgage process via calls, email, or messaging.
• Handles referrals to internal partners based on client needs.
