Job summary

Northern Health Care Ltd provides mental health recovery services and operates 24-hour supported living units in the North of England. We are recruiting a Support Worker- Mental Health for Shipley and Wakefield, working full-time on 12-hour shifts with day/night rotation.

We seek caring, compassionate staff who can help clients lead fulfilling, independent lives. DBS check will be paid for prior to starting.

Qualifications

• Level 2/3 Health and Social Care preferred.
• Experience not required if you show passion and values.

Responsibilities

• Support clients to live day-to-day, promoting independence.
• Act as advocate and key worker as required.
• Dispense medication / support clients with taking medication.
• Support clients per care plans and collaborate with the team.
• Maintain hygiene and cleanliness in flat; encourage healthy lifestyle.
• Involve families, friends, and social workers as appropriate.
• Complete administrative tasks on computer.
• Follow confidentiality and safeguarding policies.
