Residential Management Co-ordinator

Paye or Limited Pay available

Driving Licence required

Mon to Friday (36 hour week)

A key part of the role will involve oversight of and liaison with the managing agent, being the first point of contact for the agent both for day-to-day matters as well as in relation to contract compliance and monitoring.

The role's work will support our commitment to provide high quality temporary accommodation and affordable housing; ensuring that our tenants live in safe homes which are well managed and maintained; and that our managing agent is delivering a customer-focused, value-for-money service and that the council is meeting its obligations as a landlord.

Duties
  1. To work with the management agent and colleagues within the council's Housing Service and Asset Management and Property Services (AMPS) to ensure the successful mobilisation of additional stock.
  2. To help with the financial administration of the managing agent contract and related matters - from arranging for payment of suppliers and overseeing timely receipt of payments from the managing agent - and liaison with finance teams, accountants and auditors as appropriate.
  3. To maintain the council's residential property database, including all property build, compliance and stock condition reports and certificates.
  4. To work with the managing agent to collate and hold any customer information that is needed to deliver proactive repairs, planned improvements or effectively manage a complaint.
