Residential Legal Assistant

£25,000 + (DoE)

Responsibilities and Requirements

  • Experience handling post-completion tasks, including HMLR (Her Majesty's Land Registry) registrations and responding to requisitions.
  • Knowledge of preparing and submitting Stamp Duty Returns.
  • Coordinating with estate agents, lenders, and borrowers to ensure smooth transactions.
  • Requesting and managing redemption figures for mortgage settlements.
  • Assisting in the preparation and organization of sale contract documentation.
  • Supporting client communications by helping prepare contracts for signature.
  • Submitting and managing relevant searches as part of the process.
  • Assisting the Head of Department in maintaining and ensuring lender panel compliance.
  • Strong attention to detail, excellent telephone communication, and high organizational skills required.
