Job summary

Kibble is seeking a dedicated team member for the Early Years Service in Hallhill Cottage, Johnstone, responsible for meal planning, preparation and serving for young people, staff and visitors under guidance. You will also support cleaning and laundry tasks within a kitchen and domestic setting accredited with Healthy Living Award.

Role involves following safety, hygiene and dietary guidelines, and working as part of a caring staff team to ensure a safe, welcoming environment for children aged

Qualifications

• Candidates must relate well to children and young people, promoting trust.
• Positive, friendly attitude and self-starter mindset are essential.
• Ability to work unsupervised with initiative and as part of a team.
• Strong time management, communication skills and patience are required.

Responsibilities

• Carry out daily cleaning routines and tasks as scheduled.
• Unpack and stack linen and laundry.
• Prepare, cook and serve food for young people, staff and visitors.
• Contribute to menu preparation and portion control.
• Maintain hygiene, health and safety across kitchen and related areas.
• Ensure equipment and surfaces are clean and food served on time.
• Report damages or hazards and manage waste per procedures.
