The Facilities Hub is seeking an experienced and enthusiastic team member to join the Facilities & Support Services Team as a Residential Hub Officer.
You will provide a "one stop shop" service within the Walsall Facilities Hub, offering administrative support for all services delivered by Facilities from within the Hub.
This role is student-facing, focusing on handling student accommodation and campus issues daily. A proactive attitude, problem-solving skills, and a commitment to excellent customer service are essential.
You will play a vital role in ensuring students enjoy their accommodation experience by liaising with various university departments. Additionally, you will support the Hub Manager in monitoring and ensuring compliance with Residential Policies and Procedures, addressing breaches, initiating disciplinary procedures when necessary, and coordinating with relevant agencies.
The role is primarily based at Walsall Campus but may require work at other campuses as needed. It is a part-time position, typically over three days (Monday, Tuesday, and Friday), with occasional work on alternative days and some Saturdays for Student Open Days.
