Home Manager - Dementia-Focused Residential Care Home
Location: Porthcawl
Salary: Circa 45,000 per annum
40-Bed Residential Service Full-Time Permanent

We are seeking an experienced and driven Home Manager to lead our 41-bed residential care home, specialising in dementia care for older adults. This is a fantastic opportunity to take full ownership of a well-established service that provides a high standard of care to individuals with mild to moderate dementia and associated needs.

Your Role:

As Home Manager, you'll be responsible for the overall leadership, compliance, and performance of the home. You'll work closely with your team, residents, families, and external professionals to ensure the home runs smoothly and continues to deliver outstanding care.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading and developing a dedicated care team

  • Ensuring full compliance with CQC regulations and internal quality standards

  • Managing occupancy, budgeting, and operational performance

  • Supporting staff training, supervision, and professional development

  • Driving a strong culture of person-centred care and family involvement

  • Maintaining excellent relationships with external stakeholders



What We're Looking For:

  • Proven experience managing a residential or dementia care service

  • Sound knowledge of CQC regulations and safeguarding practices

  • A passion for dementia care and a commitment to continuous improvement

  • Ideally qualified to Level 5 in Leadership for Health & Social Care or willing to work toward it
