Jasmine Healthcare is seeking a dedicated Residential Home Care Assistant for Oxendon House Care Home in Market Harborough. The role covers both days (7am–7pm) and nights (7pm–7am) with full-time hours, a £13.89 per hour rate (£12.89 for 18–21 year olds), and a £500 sign-on bonus after three months.

Job Title: Care Assistant - Days and Nights available

Salary: £13.89ph (£12.89 for 18-21 year olds)

Hours: Full Time

• Days 7am-7pm, 3 shifts per week to include alternative weekends
• Nights 7pm-7am, 2 shifts per week to include alternate weekends

About Oxendon House Care Home:

Oxendon House is located in quaint village of Great Oxendon (3 miles to the south of Market Harborough).The home is set around an attractive country house,whichhas been selectively extended in keeping with its character.This provides the homeliness that Jasmine seeks for its homes, whilst still providing modern living accommodation.The home provides personal and dementia care for 43 residents.

Role Responsibilities as a Care Assistant

• You’ll join our team of dedicated Care Assistants to provide the highest possible level of care in supporting and assisting our residents in all aspects of daily living, including providing personal care and support with daily activities such as washing, dressing and eating.
• You’ll be responsible for promoting our resident's independence with a focus on choice, dignity and respect, alongside promoting their physical and emotional wellbeing.
• You’ll complete all Daily Charts to a high standard, ensuring that 90% and above is achieved during all Monthly Daily Charts Audits.
• Ensure you are 100% current with all your mandatory training throughout the year.

Role Requirements as a Care Assistant

• Clear motivations and/or relevant experience.
• Residing 20 minutes or less near to the care home.
• Ability to work under pressure.
• Written and oral communication skills.
• A caring and nurturing attitude.
• A positive and enthusiastic mindset.
• Time management and organisational skills.
