Job summary

Greenacre Recruitment Ltd is seeking an experienced Fire Risk & Fire Door Assessor to support a Surrey residential property portfolio. You will conduct FRAs and fire door inspections, identify risks, and drive remediation to completion.

You will liaise with contractors, residents, and internal stakeholders to maintain high levels of safety and compliance. This hybrid role offers 3 days on site and 2 days from home, a 6-month contract, and a daily Umbrella rate of £390–£420, with a strong focus

Qualifications

• Level 3 Fire Risk Assessment qualification or equivalent.
• Fire Door Inspection qualification (FDIS or equivalent).
• Proven experience undertaking Fire Risk Assessments within residential buildings.
• Experience inspecting and assessing fire doors.
• Strong knowledge of current fire safety legislation and guidance.
• Excellent report writing and communication skills.
• Full UK Driving Licence.

Responsibilities

• Carry out Fire Risk Assessments within residential and communal areas.
• Identify fire hazards, assess risk levels, and recommend corrective actions.
• Produce detailed and accurate Fire Risk Assessment reports.
• Undertake inspections of fire doors and passive fire protection elements.
• Assess fire doors against current legislation, standards, and industry guidance.
• Monitor and verify completion of remedial fire safety works.
• Maintain accurate compliance records and inspection data.
• Support fire safety improvement programmes and compliance initiatives.
• Liaise with residents, contractors, and stakeholders regarding fire safety matters.
• Assist with audits, regulatory inspections, and compliance reporting.
