Job summary

Aldwych Consulting is seeking an Electrical Maintenance Operative to join a high-quality residential scheme at Canary Wharf, London. You will perform reactive repairs, planned maintenance and general building upkeep, ensuring safety and compliance.

The ideal candidate will have a strong electrical maintenance background, qualifications such as Level 3 Electrical Installation/NVQ3, experience with lighting, power and emergency systems, and the flexibility for shift patterns and weekends.

Qualifications

• Experience in electrical maintenance within residential, commercial or similar environments.
• Qualifications include Level 3 Electrical Installation/NVQ3 or equivalent.
• Experience with fault finding and planned maintenance.
• Ability to work across building services and with residents.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out reactive electrical repairs and planned preventative maintenance (PPM).
• Electrical fault finding and first-line repairs to lighting, power, sockets and switches.
• Maintenance and replacement of light fittings and emergency lighting.
• Investigating and resolving electrical faults in resident rooms and communal areas.
• Carrying out basic testing and inspections, escalating complex works when required.
