Job summary
William James Recruitment are recruiting a Solicitor or Legal Executive into a residential development team in Manchester city centre. The role focuses on high-volume plot sales, site assembly for housebuilders, SME developers, investors across the North West and nationally, with autonomy and client contact.

Qualifications
- 3-5 years PQE in residential development
- Experience in unit sales or new build sales is essential
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong technical knowledge across freehold and leasehold sales, purchases and refinance
- Commercial property drafting experience would be advantageous
Responsibilities
- Site assembly work, including drafting the legal documentation pack
- Managing plot sale transactions with the support of a paralegal team
- Working to developer timescales and ensuring deadlines are met
- Advising developers on refinance matters
- Freehold and leasehold sales and purchases
- Refinance matters
- Buy-to-let and property investment work
- Building and maintaining strong client relationships
- Supporting business development and networking activity
- Contributing to the continued growth of the team
