Qualifications

• Applications are sought from Solicitors or Legal Executives with 3-5 years' PQE and proven experience in residential development, plot sales or new build sales.
• Experience managing a varied caseload of residential transactions, including sales, purchases and refinancing, with ability to handle developer and SME clients.
• Previous supervisory or management experience is desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Handle site assembly and residential development schemes for housebuilders, SMEs, traders and investors.
• Manage plot sales, refinancing and related residential property matters, coordinating with paralegals to progress transactions.
• Develop strong client relationships and contribute to the growth of the residential development practice.

SALARY:Up to £85,000 (DOE)

THE ROLE:

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Residential Development Solicitor or Legal Executive to join a highly successful property team within a leading full service commercial law firm. The role will focus on residential development and plot sales, acting for housebuilders, SME developers, property traders and investors on a varied caseload. You will deal with site assembly, residential development schemes, plot sales, refinancing and wider residential property matters, while working closely with a team of paralegals to manage the day to day progression of transactions. The role also offers the opportunity to build strong client relationships and contribute to the continued growth of the residential development team.

THE CANDIDATE:

Applications are sought from Solicitors or Legal Executives with 3-5 years' PQE and proven experience in residential development, plot sales or new build sales. You will have experience managing a varied caseload of residential transactions, including sales, purchases and refinancing, together with the ability to deal directly with developer and SME clients. Experience drafting estate documentation would be advantageous, as would some commercial property experience. Previous supervisory or management experience is desirable but not essential. The successful candidate will be confident working independently with minimal supervision, highly organised and able to manage a demanding caseload while meeting developer deadlines and targets.
