Job summary

Gleeson Homes is seeking an Engineer to support the Regional Technical team, focusing on feasibility studies, site viability and regulatory compliance for residential development. You will coordinate consultants, manage contracts and contribute to delivery milestones on site.

The role requires a relevant qualification or strong experience in technical design or civil engineering, with knowledge of highway standards, sewers for adoption, Building Regs and AutoCAD.

Qualifications

• A relevant qualification or strong experience in technical design and/or civil engineering.
• Knowledge of house-building engineering requirements and the legal framework linked to technical standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical/engineering support to feasibility studies and site viability reports.
• Identify need for external consultants, agree scope, fees and timescales.
• Manage relationships with consultants to ensure timely information flow and NHBC standards.
• Assist in tendering, setting up on-site management companies and related legal aspects.
• Coordinate utilities designs, quotes and required agreements.
• Provide engineering support to site teams and internal departments.
