Residential Coordinator / Office Support (Temp to Perm)

Location: Dorchester
Hours: Approx 30hrs/week, Monday to Friday, ideally 08:00AM start
Salary: £13.00 – £14.00 per hour
Contract Type: Temp to Perm

Overview:

We are seeking a reliable and compassionate Residential Coordinator / Office Support professional to join a dynamic and busy team. This is a dual-role position, offering a balance of front-of-house and back-office responsibilities. The ideal candidate will be patient, personable, highly organised, and comfortable juggling multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

Morning (Front of House, until 12:00PM):

  1. Act as the first point of contact for residents, handling queries in a friendly and professional manner.
  2. Provide a calm and reassuring presence; must be patient and gentle, particularly with vulnerable individuals.
  3. Manage visitor check-ins and liaise with contractors or service providers.
  4. Ensure reception and communal areas are tidy and welcoming.

Afternoon (Office-based):

  1. Assist with invoicing and general administrative duties.
  2. Support the wider office with day-to-day coordination and communication.
  3. Help manage contractors, schedules, and resident communications.
  4. Contribute to smooth office operations through strong organisational and multitasking skills.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  1. Experience in a residential, hospitality, or front-of-house setting.
  2. Background in office administration or office management.
  3. Naturally empathetic, patient, and personable.
  4. Strong multitasking abilities and comfortable in a busy environment.
  5. Confident using email, basic invoicing systems, and general office tech.
  6. Flexible, reliable, and ready to take initiative.
