Role Description
- Manage the residential conveyancing journey—from onboarding through file closure, post-completion, and Land Registry submissions. Handle a varied caseload including freehold, leasehold, right-to-buy, new-build, and remortgage matters. Collaborate and mentor: share your expertise with junior support staff and exchange ideas with colleagues.
- Communicate effectively with clients: translate legal jargon into understandable language (we pride ourselves on five-star Google reviews!). Opportunities to engage in commercial work are available if interested. No prior experience in commercial conveyancing is necessary, as our senior team will guide you.
- Qualifications and Skills:
- Qualified Solicitor or CILEX/FILEX
- At least 2 years’ practical experience in residential conveyancing
- Familiar with case-management systems and digital ID checks
- Confident using Land Registry portal and SDLT/LBTT forms
- Innovative with process improvements
- Calm, organized, and able to work under tight deadlines
- Business development skills and willingness to nurture referrers
Salary & Benefits
- £45,052.00 - £47,769.00 per year
