Are you a detail-oriented legal professional with a passion for property law? Looking to take the next step in your career? We have an exciting opportunity for a Conveyancer to join this South West based team and play a key role in delivering smooth, efficient property transactions.

What You’ll Be Doing:

You’ll manage a variety of responsibilities across the conveyancing process, ensuring client needs are met with professionalism and care.

Key Responsibilities:

Communicate effectively with clients in person, via email, and by phone
*

Manage files using a digital case management system
*

Take and follow client instructions with precision
*

Prioritise client protection, including fraud prevention and AML compliance
*

Send terms of engagement and cost estimates to clients
*

Obtain and review Land Registry documents and title deeds
*

Draft and check contracts for sale and purchase
*

Liaise with other conveyancers to agree contract terms
*

Verify all legal and financial documents
*

Handle the financial aspects of transactions
*

Manage contract exchange and transaction completion
*

Oversee leasehold matters such as landlord agreements and service charges

Purchase-Specific Duties:

*

Raise and respond to enquiries on draft contracts for various property types
*

Process Help to Buy and Lifetime ISA paperwork where required
*

Carry out and review pre-contract searches
*

Review mortgage instructions and ensure lender requirements are met
*

Prepare and manage transfer deeds, mortgage documentation, stamp duty, and registration
