Job summary

G2 Legal Limited is seeking a motivated Residential Property Paralegal to join its busy Wokingham team. You will support experienced conveyancers across a varied caseload and gain hands-on experience throughout the conveyancing process.

The ideal candidate has prior residential property experience as a Legal Assistant or Conveyancing Assistant, is well-organised with strong communication skills, and aims to develop a career in residential property within a supportive, town-centre firm.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of the residential conveyancing process or willingness to learn

A well-established Thames Valley law firm is looking for a Residential Property Paralegal to join its busy Wokingham team.

This is a great opportunity for someone with previous residential property experience as a Legal Assistant or Conveyancing Assistant who is now looking to develop their career further within conveyancing.

The Role

Supporting experienced residential property solicitors across a varied caseload, you will gain hands-on experience throughout the conveyancing process, including:

• Opening and progressing residential property files
• Preparing contract packs and completion documentation
• Drafting Certificates of Title
• Carrying out searches and submitting SDLT returns
• Preparing and submitting Land Registry applications
• Dealing with Land Registry requisitions

About You

• Previous residential property experience as a Legal Assistant or Conveyancing Assistant is essential
• Ideally educated to degree level, preferably with a Law degree
• Good understanding of the residential conveyancing process
• Strong organisation and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and client care skills
• Keen to develop a career within residential property
