Job summary

Quality Personnel is seeking an experienced Residential Conveyancing Paralegal for a permanent role in Milton Keynes. You will support the conveyancing team with property transactions and client communications, ensuring a smooth process from instruction to completion.

The ideal candidate has at least 6 months’ experience, strong organisational skills, and familiarity with case management systems. A Law Degree and LPC or equivalent are desirable but not essential.

Qualifications

• 6+ months' experience as a Conveyancing Paralegal or similar role.
• Good understanding of residential conveyancing process and property law.

Responsibilities

• Support solicitors and fee earners with residential property transactions and caseloads
• Deal with client enquiries and take instructions
• Keep clients, estate agents and third parties updated throughout the process
• Submit searches, Land Registry applications and mortgage redemptions
• Check mortgage offers and search results
• Prepare files for completion
• Assist with SDLT returns and post-completion Land Registry applications
• Prepare invoices and financial statements
• Arrange bank transfers and input accurate case information
• Open, maintain and close files
• Liaise with clients, solicitors, estate agents, lenders and third parties

Are you an experienced Residential Conveyancing Paralegal looking for your next opportunity?

Our client is a well-established professional organisation with a strong focus on delivering an excellent service to its clients. They are looking for a proactive and organised Residential Conveyancing Paralegal to join their team in Milton Keynes.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who already has experience within conveyancing and wants to develop their career within a supportive and professional environment.

The Role

Working closely with the Residential Conveyancing team, you will provide key legal and administrative support across residential property transactions and help ensure clients receive a first-class service.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Supporting solicitors and fee earners with residential property transactions and caseloads
• Dealing with client enquiries and taking instructions
• Keeping clients, estate agents and other third parties updated throughout the process
• Submitting searches, Land Registry applications and mortgage redemptions
• Checking mortgage offers and search results
• Preparing files for completion
• Assisting with SDLT returns and post-completion Land Registry applications
• Preparing invoices and financial statements
• Arranging bank transfers and inputting accurate case information
• Opening, maintaining and closing files
• Liaising confidently and professionally with clients, solicitors, estate agents, lenders and other third parties

About You

We're looking for someone with at least 6 months' experience working as a Conveyancing Paralegal or in a similar role, together with a good understanding of the residential conveyancing process and property law.

You’ll ideally have:

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
• The ability to manage competing priorities and strict deadlines
• Excellent customer/client service skills
• The ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
• Experience using case management systems
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word and Outlook
• The ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion

A Law Degree and LPC, CILEX, CLC or equivalent qualification would be desirable.
