Job Title: Residential Conveyancing Assistant

Salary: £28,000

Location: Manchester

Law Firm: Legal 500 - Hours: Full Time

I am currently recruiting for a leading Legal 500 law firm, seeking a Conveyancing Assistant to join their established Residential Conveyancing team.

The Role includes:

1. Deal effectively with clients and third parties over the telephone, in written correspondence, and occasionally face-to-face, providing advice and assistance.
2. Chase various documentation, including ID, mortgage offers, and searches.
3. Keep the case management system and third-party websites up to date in real time.
4. Ensure clients and introducers receive the best possible service.
5. Prepare documentation required for the conveyancing process.
6. Prepare completion packs for the accounts department, including completion statements and invoices.
7. Handle post-exchange matters as directed by your team manager.
8. Be responsible for completions on the day of completion.

The Ideal Candidate:

• Strong administrative skills gained in an office environment.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Good telephone manner.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Highly organized.
• Willingness to learn new skills.
• Collaborative team player and excellent communicator.
• Experience using a case management system.
