Residential Conveyancing Paralegal

About the Role

A highly regarded law firm in the Lanarkshire area is seeking an experienced and proactive Residential Conveyancing Paralegal to join their friendly and professional team. Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a varied caseload of residential conveyancing matters, including sales, purchases, remortgages, and title transfers.

  • Prepare and review contracts, title deeds, and other legal documentation.

  • Conduct due diligence, including title checks and property searches.

  • Liaise with clients, solicitors, estate agents, and financial institutions.

  • Ensure timely progression of files from instruction through to completion.

  • Maintain compliance with legal standards, firm policies, and regulatory requirements.

Candidate Requirements
  • Demonstrable experience in residential conveyancing, ideally within a Scottish legal practice.

  • Paralegal qualification preferred (e.g. Law Society of Scotland accredited).

  • Sound knowledge of Scottish property law and conveyancing processes.

  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.

  • Ability to handle a busy caseload with accuracy and minimal supervision.

  • IT proficiency including experience with legal case management systems.
