Responsibilities

• Manage a full caseload of residential conveyancing matters.
• Handle freehold and leasehold sales and purchases.
• Advise on remortgages and transfers of equity.
• Handle new build transactions and shared ownership.
• Coordinate with clients, agents, lenders, developers, and third parties.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and firm procedures.

The Role

This is an excellent opportunity for a Residential Conveyancing Lawyer to manage a varied caseload of property transactions while working alongside an experienced and collaborative team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for handling matters from instruction through to post-completion, providing practical legal advice and maintaining excellent client relationships throughout the transaction process.

Key Responsibilities

• Managing a full caseload of residential conveyancing matters.
• Handling freehold and leasehold sales and purchases.
• Advising on remortgages and transfers of equity.
• Dealing with new build transactions and shared ownership matters.
• Liaising with clients, estate agents, lenders, developers, and other third parties.
• Ensuring compliance with all regulatory and firm procedures.
• Delivering high levels of client care and service throughout the conveyancing process.
• Contributing to the continued growth and success of the department.

About You

• Qualified Solicitor, Chartered Legal Executive, or Licensed Conveyancer with 1-3 years' PQE (or equivalent experience).
• Proven experience managing a residential conveyancing caseload with minimal supervision.
• Strong technical knowledge of residential property transactions.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to prioritise workloads and meet deadlines in a busy environment.
