About the Role

As a Residential Conveyancing Assistant, you will play an integral role in supporting the Head of Department on a varied caseload of residential property transactions. This role offers genuine hands-on experience and an excellent learning platform for someone looking to establish a long-term career in conveyancing.

Key Responsibilities

1. Assisting with files from inception to post-completion across a range of residential property matters
2. Managing post-completion requirements including stamp duty returns and Land Registry submissions
3. Requesting and collating redemption figures
4. Ordering and submitting property searches
5. Assisting in the preparation of contract packs and providing reports to clients
6. Responding to client queries and maintaining high levels of client care

This role would suit someone with at least 6 months' prior experience in residential conveyancing, ideally within a law firm environment. You should be a proactive, well-organised team player with a keen eye for detail and strong communication skills.
