Residential Conveyancer - Bournemouth

A highly regarded Legal 500 practice are seeking a Residential Property Lawyer or Licensed Conveyancer to play a key role in growing their property offering from their brand-new Bournemouth office.

This is more than just a fee-earning role - you'll be part of shaping something from the ground up. While based in Bournemouth, you'll also be working closely (mostly remotely) with the wider experienced Residential Property team.

The role:

  • Helping launch and grow this new Residential team in Bournemouth
  • Managing your own varied caseload of residential property matters including:- Help to Buy and other equity mortgages, ISAs, and redemptions, leasehold work, including shared ownership, right to buy purchases, investment properties, remortgages and transfers of equity, declarations of trust, unregistered land and restrictions, probate sales and occasional support with plot sales
  • Building relationships and helping bring in new work
  • Collaborating with wider team to share knowledge and support


Ideal candidate:

  • At least 3 years' PQE in residential conveyancing
  • Confident running files independently and managing a busy caseload
  • Familiar with CQS standards and the Building Safety Act
  • Up to speed on SDLT essentials
  • Great at client care and a team player
  • Keen to get involved in business development and grow your presence in the local market
  • Strong communicator who builds relationships easily
