Overview

Are you an experienced solicitor seeking your next step in residential property? This is an exciting opportunity to join a forward-thinking national law firm. Our client is looking to appoint a driven, dedicated, and experienced conveyancer to play a key role within their Residential Property team, supporting a diverse client caseload.

Responsibilities
  • Manage a varied caseload of residential property transactions including sales, purchases, transfer of equity, shared ownership, remortgage, off-plan/new build.
  • Draft, review and prepare associated legal documentation.
  • Conduct property due diligence, title reviews and searches, and prepare reports on findings.
  • Liaise directly with clients, solicitors, agents, lenders, and other stakeholders to ensure timely and efficient transaction progression.
  • Oversee post-completion formalities including registrations, SDLT submissions, and file management.
  • Ensure all Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and professional compliance requirements are fully met.
Required Skills & Experience
  • At least three years' experience managing own caseload.
  • Solid understanding of current legislation and practice.
  • Experience managing your own caseload with minimal supervision.
  • Strong client care focus with excellent relationship-building skills.
  • Excellent drafting, negotiation, analytical, and organizational skills.
  • Confident communicator, both written and verbal.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and legal practice software.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a busy team and independently.
