Residential Conveyancer - The Role

This is a newly created role—an exciting opportunity driven by the firm's growth, leading to more client instructions and referrals due to high service standards.

• Managing a full caseload of residential property transactions from instruction to completion.
• Handling sales, purchases, re-mortgages, transfers of equity, and leasehold/freehold matters.
• Liaising with clients, agents, mortgage lenders, and other solicitors.
• Ensuring compliance with CQS and regulatory requirements.
• Updating case management systems and maintaining accurate records.

What are we looking for?

• A minimum of three years' hands-on experience in residential conveyancing.
• Experience as a Chartered Legal Executive (CILEx) or Licensed Conveyancer; open to highly experienced individuals without formal legal qualifications.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively.
• Well-organized with effective time management and proficiency with modern IT systems.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment with high attention to detail.
• Excellent client care, communication skills, and a proven billing record.
• Interest in contributing to the growth of the property department.
