Conveyancing Solicitor / Fee Earner
Leeds City Centre
Salary: From £35,000 + Bonus Scheme
Permanent | Hybrid Working (60% Office / 40% Home)

About the Firm/Role:
CRA Consulting is proud to be working with a well-established and forward-thinking law firm based in Leeds City Centre, currently seeking an experienced Conveyancing Solicitor or Fee Earner to join their growing Residential Conveyancing team. The firm is known for its commitment to high standards of service, client satisfaction, and its strong, supportive internal culture.

You will be joining a progressive and innovative practice that embraces new technologies and encourages fresh ideas from its staff. The conveyancing department is structured into collaborative teams, each comprising an experienced conveyancer and a senior conveyancing assistant. This model allows for efficient caseload management and fosters a supportive working environment.

In this role, you will handle a varied caseload of residential transactions from instruction through to completion, including freehold, leasehold, and shared ownership matters. The position offers a genuine opportunity for professional development and career progression within a dynamic team.

About You:

  • Approximately 5 years of experience in residential conveyancing
  • Confident in managing a full caseload independently
  • Strong technical knowledge across a range of residential property transactions
  • Excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills
  • A proactive and solutions-focused approach to complex matters
  • Qualification as a Solicitor, Legal Executive, Licensed Conveyancer or experienced conveyancing fee earner


Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage residential property files from instruction to post-completion
  • Conduct title checks and resolve any issues
  • Advise on mortgage offers and Help to Buy schemes
  • Confidently handle leasehold and shared ownership transactions
  • Liaise with all parties including clients, lenders, estate agents and solicitors
  • Maintain accurate updates on the case management system and client portals


Salary and Benefits:

  • Salary starting from £35,000 (commensurate with experience)
