Randstad CPE is seeking a dependable general labourer for a short-term contract on a residential new build development in Skelmanthorpe (HD8 area).

Responsibilities include assisting trades with materials, keeping plots clean and safe, unloading deliveries, and general manual labour under the Site Manager's direction. Candidates should have prior site experience and full PPE, with a willingness to work in a fast-paced construction environment.

Competenze

Previous experience working as a labourer on a construction site (new build housing experience preferred).
Full 5-point PPE (Hard hat, high-vis vest/jacket, steel toe cap boots, safety glasses, gloves).
Strong work ethic, reliable timekeeping, and a proactive attitude.
Solid awareness of site health and safety around live plots and site plant.
Based in or easily commutable to Skelmanthorpe (Huddersfield, Wakefield, Barnsley, or Kirklees area).

Mansioni

Assisting sub-contractors and site trades with moving and distributing building materials across active plots.
Sweeping out plots, clearing construction waste, and loading skips.
Maintaining a tidy, safe, and organised site environment in line with site health and safety standards.
Assisting site management with unloading deliveries and general compound upkeep.
Carrying out general manual handling and physical labour duties as instructed by the Site Manager.
