Residential Property Solicitor (with optional Commercial Property experience)

Salary: £40,000 - £55,000 (depending on experience)

A modern, forward-thinking law firm in Haywards Heath is seeking a capable and motivated Residential Property Solicitor to join its busy and growing property team. The firm has built a strong reputation locally for delivering high-quality legal services with a personal touch, and it prides itself on offering a supportive and collaborative working environment.

This is an opportunity to take on an existing caseload of c30 live matters requiring a smooth handover, the firm is keen to find a new Property Solicitor who can hit the ground running and continue delivering excellent service to its longstanding client base.

The Role

The successful candidate will handle a broad caseload of residential property work, with the opportunity to get involved in commercial property matters where appropriate. Commercial experience is desirable but not essential, and support will be available from other fee earners with expertise in this area.

This role is open to solicitors from newly qualified level and above, with a genuine opportunity for progression and autonomy. The new joiner will report to a senior solicitor based in the Haywards Heath office and collaborate with a small number of remote consultant solicitors. They will also be expected to delegate to and supervise paralegals and trainees, playing an active role in supporting the wider team.
