Residential/Commercial Audio Visual (AV) Business Development Manager

Are you an experienced business development professional with a passion for Audio Visual (AV) solutions? Do you have a proven track record of growing clientele, expanding revenue streams, and driving business success in the residential and commercial AV sectors? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you!

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Client Acquisition & Relationship Building
    • Identify, engage, and develop new business opportunities within both residential and commercial markets.
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring excellent service and long-term partnerships.
    • Conduct market research to identify industry trends and potential opportunities for growth.
    • Attend industry events, exhibitions, and networking functions to generate leads and raise brand awareness.
  2. Revenue Growth & Strategic Planning
    • Drive revenue through a combination of direct sales, key account management, and strategic partnerships.
    • Develop and implement sales strategies to meet or exceed targets, contributing to the company's growth and profitability.
    • Create tailored proposals and presentations to meet client needs and close deals effectively.
    • Collaborate with the project management and technical teams to ensure seamless delivery of AV solutions post-sale.
  3. Collaboration & Reporting
    • Work closely with internal teams including engineering, design, and project management to ensure customer satisfaction.
    • Provide regular reports and updates on sales progress, market trends, and client feedback to senior leadership.
Skills & Experience Required:

Essential:

  • Proven experience in business development and sales within the residential or commercial AV, technology, or related industries.
  • Strong understanding of AV technologies, including but not limited to home automation, AV control, and audio solutions.
  • Demonstrated ability to acquire new clients, build relationships, and drive revenue growth.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical solutions in an accessible way.
  • Highly motivated, results-driven, and able to work independently to meet sales targets.
  • Strong negotiation skills and a consultative approach to sales.

Desirable:

  • Existing network of contacts within the residential or commercial AV sectors.
  • Experience working with high-end residential clients or large commercial projects.
  • Knowledge of project management and the full lifecycle of AV solution deployment.
  • Familiarity with CRM tools and sales analytics.
