Job summary

Cambian Lufton College is a specialist residential education provider for 16 to 25-year olds with autism, learning disabilities and complex needs. The Housekeeping Assistant works as part of a team to clean designated areas, maintain high hygiene standards and support staff by ensuring clothing and linen are clean and ready for term starts.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

To undertake cleaning (toilets, kitchens, corridors and stairs) of communal areas, homes, offices and educational areas.
To maintain infection control standards and follow policies as directed by admin/leadership.
To dispose of rubbish and replenish sanitary items in timely manner.
To support care staff to clean students' rooms at term end.
To ensure equipment is used correctly and left in good order.
To monitor areas for damage and report repairs.
To notify maintenance of repairs or wear and tear.
To keep cleaning cupboards tidy and follow COSHH risk assessments.
