Job summary

New Appointments Group is seeking a Civil Engineering Coordinator for a permanent, full-time position near Canterbury. The role focuses on coordinating civil aspects of residential developments from design through to construction, ensuring compliance with planning and regulatory standards.

Ideal candidates have civil engineering experience, knowledge of infrastructure design, and are comfortable liaising with consultants and contractors. A UK driving licence and site presence are required.

Qualifications

• Experience in civil engineering, infrastructure, or residential development projects.
• Knowledge of residential infrastructure design, highways, and drainage.
• Ability to read and review engineering drawings and technical documents.
• Understanding of UK planning processes and construction methods.
• Knowledge of Section 38, Section 278 agreements, sewer adoption agreements, and relevant highway/drainage standards would be beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the civil engineering aspects of residential developments to ensure safety, efficiency and regulatory compliance.
• Work with internal teams and external consultants, contractors and stakeholders to deliver development schemes.
• Support delivery of residential development projects from design through to construction.
