We are looking for candidates with a background supporting children, or adults with complex health needs or learning disabilities. We are also seeking people without experience who want to make a difference to Children’s lives with complex health needs!

We are looking for passion over experience and a person who is passionate about making a positive difference in our children’s lives, showing nurture and care. We will provide training to support your skills and development.

Shifts consist of Days, Afternoons, Evenings, Sleep-ins and Waking Nights.

Responsibilities of a Residential Children’s Health Care Support Worker:

  • To care for and support children with a person-centred approach within their children’s home, and to enable the children you support to access the community.
  • Assistance with personal care may be required.
  • Administration of medication once training, and a medication competency is complete.
  • Assistance with food preparation.
  • Assistance with moving and handling for those with limited abilities once training is complete.
  • Participate in domestic and household tasks such as cooking and cleaning.
  • Participate in accessing the community to complete activities.
  • Getting to know every child you support, discovering their interests and needs, and providing mentoring.
  • Create a safe and caring environment which meets the children’s needs.
  • Work in accordance with relevant Company Policies and Procedures.
  • Communicate with parents and relevant professionals.

Driving license - preferred.
