Job summary

YMCA Robin Hood Group in Goole is recruiting Residential Care Workers to provide day-to-day care for children aged 5-18 across our homes in the region. You will join a dedicated team to create a safe, loving, nurturing home and deliver therapeutic support to help children overcome past trauma.

We offer a structured training plan, funded Level 4 qualification in Residential Childcare, regular supervision, and clear career progression within a supportive not-for-profit organisation.

Qualifications

• Experience with children in residential care or similar settings.
• Willingness to complete a fully funded Level 4 qualification in Residential Childcare.
• Commitment to safeguarding and child welfare.

Responsibilities

• Work as part of a team to ensure the children are looked after 24/7.
• Create a safe, loving, nurturing home.
• Provide therapeutic care to help them navigate past trauma.
