In your new role:

This role offers the opportunity to work with a dedicated team supporting young people with complex needs related to their life experiences and childhood adversity.

Responsibilities include:
  1. Working positively, respectfully, and empoweringly with young people to promote good relationships and achievements.
  2. Collaborating with a team to address social, emotional, educational, and mental health needs.
  3. Encouraging participation of young people in domestic tasks to develop self-care skills.
  4. Writing review reports, conducting risk assessments, and contributing to care plans.
  5. Liaising with parents and partner agencies to ensure the best interests of the young people are maintained.
What we look for:
  • Understanding of developmental needs and milestones of young people.
  • Experience working with children and families.
  • Full UK manual driving licence.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to build positive relationships.
  • Ability to produce clear reports and verbally communicate effectively.
  • Ability to remain calm and objective in challenging situations.
  • HNC in Social Care, SVQ level 3 in Care, or equivalent qualification, or willingness to undertake these qualifications.
