In a time of exciting growth and development, Salford City Council’s Children's Residential Service is eagerly searching for compassionate and dedicated Residential Childcare Workers to join our new team at our Residential Children's home within the Residential Estate. Whether you have experience or are looking to start a rewarding career in children's residential care, we offer a supportive pathway to help you excel.
As a Residential Childcare Worker, you'll play a crucial role in the daily lives of the children we care for, providing support, warmth, and structure. Your responsibilities will include:
We are seeking someone with a genuine desire to support and make a difference in the lives of young people. Previous experience in children's homes is desirable but not essential—we provide full training! A Level 3 or 4 Diploma in Residential Childcare is a plus but not mandatory. We will support the right candidate to achieve this qualification, including time off for study. We are looking for a long-term team member eager to grow their skills and impact their community.
