Job summary

Walsall Council's Children's Services are hiring a Residential Childcare Worker to provide direct care for children across our borough. We are looking for people who have some experience of working with children in any setting to join our Children's Residential Services within Walsall.

This role requires you to be resilient, resourceful, enthusiastic and motivated to be a positive influence on our children. All successful candidates will work as part of a team that provides 24/7 on a rota basis.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children in any setting.
• Willingness to work as part of a 24/7 rota.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care for children and engage with children and families to achieve positive outcomes.
• Deliver services in safe, personalised small group homes to support children's welfare.
