Spark of Genius is seeking a Residential Childcare Worker to support young people at Brandy Burn in Elderslie, Renfrewshire. You will help with daily routines, school preparation and activity planning in a nurturing home environment.
Experience is preferred and a full UK driving licence is essential. Training will be provided, and staff are encouraged to develop professionally within a supportive team.

Pay: £26,312 unqualified -£27,996 with an SVQ or HNC -£31,470 with SVQ & HNC

As a Children's Residential Support Worker you will support young people with their daily routines; Getting them ready for school, prepping for meal times and planning activities.
New staff must be comfortable using an electronic care recording system on a daily basis to document, monitor, and update children and young people's records accurately. Experience with Clearcare is an advantage, but not essential, as full training will be provided. However, all staff are expected to confidently use digital systems as part of their day-to-day role.

Brandy Burn caters for placements for male & female with a wide range of diverse backgrounds and care needs. The house is large and spacious with one downstairs bedroom with a separate bathroom, four bedrooms upstairs, two of which include en-suite facilities.
The home has an experienced trauma informed team and has an excellent record of care and support through meeting the needs of each of their young people. Demonstrating a clear understanding in creating a therapeutic environment with caring and developmental relationships allowing each young person to thrive and achieve to the best of their abilities.
