Job Title: Residential Childcare Assessor (Level 3 or 5)

Opportunities to deliver at Level 3 or Level 5.

Location: Home/Field based

Salary: £28,500 – £32,000 (Depending on experience) + fantastic benefits package

Type: Full Time, Permanent

Essential Criteria:

1. Must hold a recognised Assessor award: D32/33, A1, CAVA or TAQA.
2. Hold a Level 3 or above in Residential Childcare.
3. Have experience of assessing Residential Childcare Apprenticeships (doesn’t have to be recent!).
4. Full, clean UK driving licence and access to own vehicle.
5. Must be flexible with travel.

Duties include:

1. Assess and support a caseload of learners working towards Residential Childcare Apprenticeships at Level 3-5 (depending on competency).
2. Support learners with Functional Skills Maths and English to Level 2.
3. Manage your diary efficiently to ensure timely reviews and meetings are conducted.
4. Conduct online video meetings and training sessions with learners.
5. Organise and maintain documentation on learners’ progress.
6. Support, advise, and motivate learners.
7. Overcome barriers to learning and adapt delivery to meet learners’ needs.
