Job Title: Residential Childcare Tutor (Level 3 or 5)

Opportunities to deliver at Level 3 or Level 5.

Location: Home/Field based - Must be flexible with travel

Salary: GBP28,500 - GBP32,000 (Depending on experience) + fantastic benefits package

Type: Full Time, Permanent

Essential Criteria:

• Must hold a recognised Assessor award: D32/33, A1, CAVA or TAQA.
• Hold a recognised qualification in Residential Childcare at Level 3 or above.
• Must have experience of delivering Residential Childcare Apprenticeships.
• Must hold solid occupational competency at Senior level or above within a Children's Home.
• Ideally hold a recognised Teaching qualification: PTLLS/AET or above.
• Full, clean UK driving licence and access to own vehicle.
• Must be flexible with travel.

Duties include:

• Assess and support a caseload of learners working towards Residential Childcare Apprenticeships Level 3-5 (depending on competency).
• Support learners with Functional Skills Maths and English to Level 2.
• Manage your diary efficiently to ensure timely reviews and meetings.
• Conduct online video meetings and training sessions with learners.
• Organise and maintain documentation on learners' progress.
• Support, advise, and motivate learners.
• Overcome barriers to learning and adapt delivery to meet learners' needs.
