Job summary

A leading training provider in the UK seeks an experienced Residential Childcare professional to deliver apprenticeships primarily from home. Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years' occupational experience in a Residential Childcare setting as a manager.
  • Experience delivering Residential Childcare apprenticeships.
  • Full UK Driving License is required.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and evaluate training materials for learners.
  • Monitor candidates' progress and conduct regular reviews.

Overview

An opportunity to join an innovative and rapidly growing training provider. We are looking for an experienced Residential Childcare professional to join their successful team.

You will be delivering CYP Residential Childcare apprenticeships to learners, mainly working remotely from home.

Responsibilities
  • Train, assess, motivate and support Residential Childcare learners on programmes towards achieving CYP / Residential Childcare Apprenticeship qualifications
  • Support, develop, implement and evaluate approved Residential Childcare training materials, promoting standardisation, use approved training methods to develop the learner and utilise every opportunity to supporting them to achieving their qualification in a timely manner.
  • Ensure the highest standards of learner completions are met and to monitor candidates progress, including carrying out regular progression reviews/additional support reviews.
Qualifications and Competencies
  • A minimum 2 years' occupational experience within a Residential Childcare setting as a manager
  • A L5 qualification in Childcare
  • Experience delivering Residential Childcare apprenticeships
  • Assessor Award - TAQA, CAVA, A1, D32/33
  • Teaching qualification
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work autonomously and manage own diary
  • Full UK Driving License
