Job summary

Acorn Training Ltd. is seeking a Trainer Assessor for Residential Childcare in Oxford to deliver high-quality teaching, coaching, and assessment for Level 4/5 apprenticeship standards.

You will manage a caseload, develop training plans with employers, and ensure learners meet regulatory requirements and organisational standards. You will conduct inductions, support English and maths development, track progress, and prepare learners for end point assessments, while complying with AO quality

Qualifications

• Level 5 qualification in the subject sector (essential).
• Level 3 CAVA (essential).
• Level 3 AET or equivalent (essential).
• GCSE English and Maths A*-C (essential).
• Full, clean driving licence and access to vehicle (essential).
• Level 4 IQA (desirable).
• Level 4 CET or equivalent (desirable).
• IOSH Health and Safety at Work (desirable).
• First Aid at Work (desirable).

Responsibilities

• Caseload management delivering training, coaching, mentoring and assessment to apprentices and employer-based learners.
• Plan training using starting points and plan for English, maths and progression.
• Develop individual training plans with employers for final assessment readiness.
• Provide induction programmes and clarify roles in the learning journey.
• Deliver learning using effective strategies and resources to progress learners.
