Excelcare Holdings is hiring a Support Worker for a residential children’s home in Histon, Cambridgeshire. You will support children aged 6-17, promoting safety, wellbeing and development in a trauma-informed care setting.

The role includes 8am–10pm shifts with some sleep-ins (£62 per night) and a salary of £14.50 per hour plus meals. Induction and ongoing training are provided, with a strong leadership team and clear progression opportunities.

Qualificações

• Experience working with children, young people or vulnerable groups.
• Willingness to complete a Level 3 qualification in Residential Childcare.
• Compassionate, respectful and caring by nature.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Reliable, organised and able to work well in a team.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsabilidades

• Support children to build positive relationships and independence.
• Help develop education, social and emotional skills in a safe environment.
• Ensure compliance with Children’s Homes Regulations and company policies.
• Participate in induction, mentoring and ongoing training.
