Salary: £ per hour plus sleep-in shifts when required

We are currently seeking Residential Child Care Workers to join our new residential home on a casual basis. This role offers flexibility to work hours you can commit to, with no contractual obligation.

Based in a children's residential home, you will work with young people exhibiting challenging behavior. Candidates should be flexible, resilient, honest, well-organized, and committed to providing high-quality childcare to support young people's development and outcomes.

Applicants must have:

• Experience working with challenging young people (preferably in a residential setting, but not essential)
• QCF level qualification in Children and Young People
• Ability to work independently with high accuracy and maintain clear records
• Good interpersonal skills and a positive team attitude
• Intermediate computer skills
• Ability to complete daily records in compliance with statutory and policy requirements
• Empathetic nature
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Ability to motivate and engage young people
• Full manual driving license (essential)
