Job description

Job Title: Residential Childcare Practitioner - Children's Home

Where you will be based: Swinton, Manchester

Provision:Children's Home

The Service Users:Children aged 7 to 17 with Social, Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (SEBD)

Working Week and Pay:

  • £13.50per hour on either 36 hours or 48 hours contract with Approx 6 to 8 sleeps per month paid at £52 per sleep. Total Taken Per Year Upto £38,688

Desirables:

  • Qualifications:It is desirable that you hold Level 3 NVQ in Residential Childcare, or Level 3 Diplomas in Social or Children Care or Health and Social Care
  • Experience:Desirable to have experience working in a similar setting, such as working with children with challenging behaviour or complex needs (not including care assistant for the elderly).
  • Driving Licence: Full driving license is desirable
Essentials:
  • Fluent in English:Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Min Age:22
