Job description

Job Title: Residential Childcare Practitioner - Children's Home

Location: Houghton le Spring, North East

Provision: Children's Home

Service Users: Children aged 7 to 17 with Social, Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (SEBD)

Working Week and Pay
  • £13.50 per hour on either 36 or 48 hours contract, with approximately 6 to 8 sleeps per month paid at £52 per sleep. Total annual earnings up to £38,688.
Desirables
  • Qualifications: Level 3 NVQ in Residential Childcare, or Level 3 Diplomas in Social or Children Care, or Health and Social Care (desirable)
  • Experience: Experience working with children with challenging behaviour or complex needs (not including elderly care)
  • Driving Licence: Full driving license (desirable)
Essentials
  • Fluent in English: Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Minimum Age: 22
