Directorate: People Services

Hours: Full Time – 37 hours a week. Part Time – hours a week. Includes shift working, sleep-in duties, alternate weekends and bank holiday working.

The Opportunity

As a Residential Child Care Worker, your role will be to support children and young people in residential settings. Our homes provide short and long-term care for children unable to live with their families, including those with emotional or behavioural difficulties and complex needs. Our approach emphasizes creative, child-centered care.

About You

To succeed, you should ideally hold an NVQ Level 3 Diploma in Health and Social Care - Children and Young People. If not, we can provide training to help you gain the necessary qualifications. All applicants must be aged 22 or over due to regulations. You must hold a full, clean driving license and demonstrate written, numeracy (Level 2 functional skills or equivalent), administration, and IT skills for completing case records, care plans, reports, and financial records.
