Keys Group is hiring a resilient Children’s Residential Support Worker to care for young people with complex medical needs and autism in Southampton. You will provide daily support, encouragement and safety in a loving home environment, including personal care and mobility assistance.

The role involves shift work with long days and sleep-ins. Applicants should have care experience, strong communication, and a full UK driving licence; training and progression opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• Experience in care (LD, medical, nursing) or similar is essential.
• Ability to lift and use hoists; manual handling required.
• Excellent communication and empathy for children.

Responsibilities

• Provide a safe, caring home for children with complex needs.
• Offer emotional and physical support to help children reach their potential.
• Deliver medical support including physio routines, PEG feeding, moving and handling; operate hoists.
• Maintain safe home environment including cleaning, laundry and cooking.
