  • Salary: Grade F. Scale 17 - 31,022 to Scale 22 - 33,699 (plus an additional 4,796 for contractual enhancements bringing salary range to 35,818 - 38,495)

The Role

We are looking for a Residential Childcare Worker as part of a team providing 24-hour care within Children’s Residential Services. You will be working in a 4 bed Children’s Home caring for young people with complex emotional and behavioural needs.

Hours of work include evening shifts, day shifts, weekend working and bank holidays as part of a flexible working rota and sleep in duties, on occasion waking night shifts.

About You

Whilst qualification to NVQ Level 3 in Caring for Children and Young People is an advantage, we accept and encourage applications from candidates who do not hold this qualification. What is important is that you have a passion for working with young people and supporting young people to reach their potential.

We will support you to complete the qualification on starting in the role. The qualification will equip you with knowledge and skills to help you succeed in this role and must be completed within 2 years.
